I thought I would start a thread here about some Harry Potter predictions. I don't want to run something with a lot of spoilers over at the big site. Read on to hear my thoughts.
So basically we've seen some serious development in the characters over the last couple books. Harry, Hermione and Ron are all becoming confused teenagers. Here's some things I see happening:
1) Hermione and Ron. Rowling's been teasing it forever. I think it will actually happen in the next book.
2) Malfoy. I think Rowling could go two opposite ways with Malfoy. Either he will avenge his father's arrest by attacking Harry in the near future or possibly even becoming a Death Eater himself, or he will see the error of his ways and join forces with the D.A.. I would at least expect to see one or more Slytherins in the D.A. next book becuase of the Sorting Hat talking about the necessity for the houses to be united. Another interesting thing to ponder is what Dumbledore will do about the children of known Death Eaters. Will they be allowed at Hogwarts?
These are just a couple things. I'm tired, so I'll continue later.
3 years and it's still going... Things will probably pick back up when the next book comes out. Next year hopefully?

7th book 7th book 7th book!!!!! hooray....now we just have to wait for it to actually come out! did you guys see the movie posters for the order of pheonix!?!?

I think the Deathly Hallows is the proper name for the veil. Something as powerful as the veil should and probably would have a proper name other that "the veil." I don't believe that Deathly Hallows has to be something we've never seen before. It may be something we've seen but didn't exactly know what it was, just like "Half Blood Prince," "Prisoner of Azkaban" and in a small way "Order of the Phoenix."

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE A PREDICITION. YOU REMEMBER WHEN DUMBLEDORE AND HARRY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE HOROCRUXES AND DUMBLEDORE PREDICTED THAT THE SNAKE COULD POSSIBLY BE THE LAST HOROCRUX AND HARRY ASKED IF IT COULD BE SOMTHING LIVING....MY HUSBAND AND I THINK THAT HARRY IS THE 7TH HOROCRUX. THINK ABOUT IF THERE IS SO MUCH OF VOLDEMORT IN HARRY. WHAT WE THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN IS THAT HARRY IS GOING TO FIND OUT THAT HE IS INFACT THE LAST HOROCRUX AND KILL OFF VOLDEMORTS CURRENT BODY. SINCE IT TAKES A WHILE FOR HIM TO REGENERATE HARRY IS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF TO COMPLETELY RID THE WORLD OF VOLDEMORT. AND HE IS GOING TO DO IT BY WALKING THROUGH THE VEIL..."THE DEATHLY HALLOWS" JUST A THOUGH... WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?? OHH YEAH AND RON AND HERMIONE ARE GOING TO REALLY GET TOGETHER IN THIS BOOK.

my heart will break if harry died. i have heard this theory about the 7th bit in harry himself but the part where kills himself by walking through the veil is something ihave never heard
